I knew and dated Bob when he was a senior at Alter High School. He was charming, gorgeous, and a great football player. A real guy's guy. He was funny and he loved movies and music. He drove a big VW bus and when he went to get it painted, he asked me what color to paint it. After turning down "boring" red and blue I told him I thought he should paint it yellow, which he did. His friends kidded him that he was driving a big "lemon." What a fun car that was though! Our song was Elton John's "Tiny Dancer" and although we watched a lot of movies the two I remember most are "Jeremiah Johnson" and "Maude." We lost touch when he went to college but talked again briefly when he found out I had gotten a job at IBM - he tracked me down in training and we had a chance to catch up. Bob was a great guy, he is gone too soon.
