Ronald Lee Yasurek, Sr. "Ron", 61, died July 30, 2011, at his home in Milton, Florida.

Ron was born March 16, 1950, in Kane, PA to John and Emma Yasurek. After high school, he joined the U.S. Navy and moved to Florida where he met and married his wife Sharon. Ron was active in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church where he was a member of the Milton Knights of Columbus and a 4th Degree member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Assembly.

He is preceded in death by his father John Yasurek, Sr. and father-in-law Kenneth Peakman, Sr.

Ron is survived by his wife Sharon Peakman Yasurek; his mother Emma Yasurek; his mother-in-law Doris Peakman; his children, Ronald Yasurek, Jr. , Jason Yasurek (Crystal), Emily Donalson (Marc), Joseph Yasurek (Mary), Pamela Phillips, Katrina Yasurek; 8 grandchildren; 10 siblings and their spouses; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 9:30-10:30am Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Rosary will begin at 10:30am.

Funeral Mass will be at 11:00am with Monsignor Stephen Bosso and Father Dennis O'Brien officiating. Additional services will be in St. Callistus Catholic Church in Kane, PA with the Cummings Funeral Home of Kane, PA directing.

Donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
