Obituary for Donna Jeanne Marcus
Donna Jeanne Marcus, 51, passed away as she slept Thursday, September 6, 2018, at her home in Navarre, Florida.
She was born in San Bernardino, California, where her father served in the United States Air Force. Donna graduated from Satellite High School in 1985 and attended college at Eastern Florida State College, formerly Brevard Community College. She met her husband at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida, and set off on an adventurous course as a vigilant and dynamic military wife and mom. Donna shared her blessing of a beautiful voice with her chapel community in Catholic faith throughout her life in many capacities. Ever vibrant and endearing, Donna established friendships in every facet of her life experiences. She was a voracious reader, which seemed to fuel her enthusiastic ability to always be equipped with a story to share. Donna, in passing, has joined her recently departed sister, Paula Long, in our heavenly Father’s embrace.
Survivors include her husband, Master Sergeant Ralph (Eddie) Marcus, USAF, Ret.; her children, Steven, Nicole, Joshua, and Jessica; along with her loving parents, Master Sergeant James and Lucille Madigan, Sr., USAF, Ret., siblings, Damian and Cynthia Madigan, Colonel Virginia and Brooks Garner, USAF, and Major James and Jessica Madigan, Jr., USA; eight nieces and nephews; and one great-niece.
A memorial service and Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2018, at South Patrick Chapel, located at 854 Harrier Avenue, Satellite Beach, Florida.
Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel, has been entrusted with arrangements.
The family requests memorial donations be made in Donna's name, to PAWS.
