Obituary for William S Smith
William S. Smith, 86, of Milton passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018. Mr. Smith was a native of Samson, Alabama, and had resided in the Milton area for over 25 years. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Military, having served during the Vietnam Conflict, and was a member of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ileta White Smith.
Mr. Smith is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Jo Ann and Louie Adkison, of Selma, Alabama; and a brother-in-law, Clinton White, of Milton.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel in Milton, with Rev. Jason Douglas officiating. Burial will follow services in Serenity Gardens Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., prior to services.
