Obituary for Willa Dean Keyser

Willa Dean  Keyser
Willa Dean Keyser was called to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday March 17, 2018. Dean was a lifelong resident of Santa Rosa County, born the fifth child to Charlie Walter and Minnie Estelle Plant.
Dean was a faithful servant of the Lord, teach¬ing Sunday school at Glad Tidings Church and a devoted member of Pace Community Church that she loved. As a member of Beta Sigma Phi for over 50 years, Dean traveled to all corners of the United States with her sorority sisters. Dean worked at Whiting Field as a civil servant and retired after 27 ½ years. Dean enjoyed going to baseball games, cooking, and social gatherings.
Dean is survived by her husband of 67 years, David Lee Keyser, their two daughters Davene Mosely and Donna Anderson (Michael), their five grandchildren: Deedra Ellis, DeAnne Cox, Deana Fuller, Shane Williamson (Jill), and Robert Cooke, and Eleven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Dean’s two sisters Lois and Polly and a sister-in-law Nell and numerous nieces and neph-ews and close friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Clifford, Buck, and Mary.
Pallbearers are Shane Williamson, Robert Cooke, Dakota Ellis, Drake Ellis, Michael Anderson, Daw¬son and Mason Fuller, and Andy Cox.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Pace Community Church in Pace, Florida, Rev. Ronnie Christian and Rev. Glynn Lowery officiating and Lewis Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Barrancas National Cemetery, aboard Pensacola Naval Air Station, with Lewis Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel in Pace.
