Obituary for Nancy I Streets (Teach)
Nancy Teach Streets, age 63, of Navarre, Florida, passed away, Thursday, January 18, 2018.
Nancy was a resident of Navarre, Florida, for over 25 years. She is one of eight children born to the late John and Mary Teach. She was an employee of the State of Florida for ten years before retiring in 2016. She took great pleasure in her position as a school nurse and helping students for several years. Her love of life and willingness to help others enriched the lives of all that knew her.
She is preceded by her parents, John and Mary Teach; her husband, Gary Streets; her brother, John Teach; and her sister, Sue Hisler.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Carter, of Maurice, Louisiana; Ryan Carter, of Navarre, Florida; her five brothers and sisters; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel (7794 Navarre Parkway, Navarre, Florida 32566.) Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests, memorial donations may be made in Nancy’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
