Obituary for Guy William Fischer

Guy William Fischer, from Navarre, Florida, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017, at home, from a heart attack.

He was born to Cathy and Hank Fischer of Milton, Florida, on September 8, 1963. Guy graduated Florida A&M with a degree in architecture and played baseball at Ole Miss. He moved to Navarre, Florida, and for the next 25 years took extreme pride building beautiful custom homes under his business “Fischer Design Build.” Guy was passionate about baseball, FSU football, golfing, fishing and politics. He loved being a father and spending his time training Tyler in baseball, and coaching basketball and baseball for his teams. He loved fishing in the Bahamas with the boys.

Guy is survived by his wife, Colleen Coe; son, Tyler Fischer, step-son, Brennan Coe; father-in-law, Charlie Coe; brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws, Nick and Lisa Coe, and Chris and Julie Coe; nieces and nephews, Jesse Coe, Kory Coe, Makenzie Coe, Bryce Coe, and Kimberly Coe; mother and father, Cathy and Hank; sister and brother-in-law, Dawn and Kendall Rycroft; nieces and nephews, Alexia, Kayla, Elijah, Enoch and Ezekiel; aunts and uncles, Bert and Joann Koch, Dot and Bob Hagan, and Rene Harzula, and Betty Roy; and several cousins and second cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 6, 2017, at Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel (7794 Navarre Parkway, Navarre, FL 25526).

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. – 12:00 noon, prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations may be made in Guy’s name, to a favorite charity of your choice.

We have set up a “Go Fund Me” account for Tyler's baseball training needs, in honor of
Guy’s love for baseball. https://www.gofundme.com/erhtac-tylers-dream The family appreciates and thanks you for your kind gifts and support.
