In Loving Memory of Joseph John Latour, Jr.
February 16, 1971 – December 7, 2017
Joseph John Latour Jr., 46, died peacefully in his bed on Thursday, December 7, 2017, in Navarre, Florida.
He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, on February 16, 1971, and graduated from Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in Charlton, Massachusetts, in 1990, with a certificate in Automotive Mechanics. He loved spending time with his children going to Tom Thumb and the river. He loved his brother picking him up for coffee in the morning and having dinner every night with his Mom. He liked playing bingo with his sister and working on lawn mowers with his Dad. He also taught his nephew how to rebuild an engine from start to finish. He enjoyed watching the New England Patriots and Nascar racing. Although, he suffered with many medical issues, he spent his days working on cars for people who were less fortunate and would give his torn ripped-up shirt off his back if you needed it.
Joseph is survived by his beloved children, Sara Alice “Pumpkin” Latour and Joseph John Latour III of Houson, Texas; caring ex-wife, Tracy Balduff-Latour of Houston, Texas; his parents, Joseph John Latour Sr. and Patricia Frances Latour of Navarre, Florida; his grandmother, Gloria B. Steele of Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts; his siblings, Anthony James Latour and April Lynn Pittman and brother-in-law Travis Edward Pittman of Navarre, Florida; nephews, Tyler Michael Manor (his fiancé Krista Gloria Carter), Dylon Tyler Pittman, and Jacob Edward Pittman of Navarre, Florida; and niece, Ashley D Glass; and his great-niece, Karter Lynn Manor.
Ceremony services for Joseph Latour Jr. will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 17, 2017, at Navarre First Assembly of God, with Pastor Jon Skipper officiating.
Donations made be made to Joseph John Latour Sr. to help with funeral costs.
Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel, has been entrusted with arrangements.
