Marsha Leigh Morris Alford, age 66, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 30, 2017. She resided with her husband in Gulf Breeze, Florida.

Marsha was a long-time resident of Navarre, Florida, before moving to Gulf Breeze in 2012. She was a member of Mary Esther Church of God, Mary Esther, Florida.

Marsha Alford was preceded in death by her parents, Iola Reese and Charles William Morris of Virginia.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Joseph “Matt” Alford; one sister, Susan Lori Morris of Indiana; one aunt, Shirley Zartman of Virginia; cousin, Eddie Wheltan of Virginia Beach, Virginia; her best friend, Anna Compton of Navarre; and several other cousins and close friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 5, 2017, at Mary Esther Church of God (140 Green Drive, Mary Esther, Florida) with Rev. Buck Dockery officiating. Interment will follow services in the Holley Point Cemetery in Holley Navarre, Florida. Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel, has been entrusted with arrangements.

Visitation will be held prior to the service; 9:00 a.m. for family; and public visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
