Obituary for Stella Salazar Willig
Stella Salazar Willig, 69, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018.
Stella was a Houston native and was the only daughter born to the late John Salazar and Felicitas Alaniz Salazar. She was a retired medical transcriptionist, with 30 years of service, and a member of the Blue Angel Seventh day Adventist Church. Stella was an avid gardener, enjoyed spending time with her family, and studying the Bible.
Stella is survived by her husband, Dale Willig Jr; her sons, Christopher Willig, Darren Willig and Brandon Willig; her grandsons, Nicholas Willig and Corey Willig; and her daughter-in-law, Christina Willig.
Visitation will be held at 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel in Milton, Florida.
A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, December 28, 2018, at Barrancas National Cemetery, onboard NAS Pensacola. Please meet the family at 11:30 a.m., in the parking lot of Olive Baptist Church, Warrington Campus, (103 West Winthrop Avenue, Pensacola, Florida 32507) to travel in procession to the base. The funeral procession will leave the church parking lot promptly at 11:50 a.m. to go to the base.
The family would like to thank the staff of Sacred Heart Hospital ICU and Hospice for the care of their wife, mother, and grandmother.
