She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Dan; brother, Claude Jr.; grandson, Daniel Wesley; her son-in-law, Bill Walther; and three brothers, Paul, James and David Baker.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Sandra Walther and Donna (Dr. Pete) Szymoniak; granddaughters, Krista (Richie) Narain, Chelsie (Phil) Driver; grandsons, Kaz (Mitchell) and Matt (Faustine) Szymoniak; great-grandsons, Parker Narain, and Jack and Issac Szymoniak; great-granddaughters, Daisy and Clara Szymoniak; sister, Evelyn Roberts; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Sandy Ridge Nursing Facility for the excellent care they provided to their mother for the last three years. A special thank you to Emerald Coast Hospice.
