Mary L. Ball, 84, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018, at West Florida Hospital after a brief illness. She was born January 3, 1934, in Pike County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Lance Robert Carver and Mattie Fiana Bowen.

Mary retired from Marshall University administrative office. She attended Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola. She was extremely active in the church choir, a member of the Line Dancing Grannies, square dancing and round dancing.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Glendale Ball.

Mary is survived by her daughter Pamela and son-in-law Steve Adkins of Pace, Florida; son Ronald Davis and son-in-law Robert Tsuda of San Francisco, California; son Michael and daughter-in-law Margaret Davis of Pensacola, Florida; sister, Judy Cross of Indianapolis, Indiana; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Adkins, and Joshua and Jessica Davis; four great-grandchildren, Grayson and Meredith Adkins, and Roslyn and Daniel Davis.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 17, 2018, at Olive Baptist Church (corner of N. Davis Hwy. and Olive Road, Pensacola.) Lewis Funeral Home of Milton has been entrusted with arrangements.
