Paul Andrew  Lawson
Father and grandfather, Paul Andrew Lawson, 86 years old, of Milton, Florida, left this life Friday, September 7, 2018.

Paul was the son of the late Silas Woodford Lawson of Elizabeth, Indiana, and the late Mary Gillon Downie of Glasgow, Scotland. He was a Veteran of the Korean War and the Vietnam War, and served 20 years in the U. S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Atrice Marie Parker, wife and beloved mother.

Paul is survived by seven children, Sharon Ann Lawson of Milton, FL, Jedd Victor and Lynn (Ong) Lawson of Bayou La Batre, AL, Ethel Jeanese Hayward of Milton, FL, Kathy Zillah Gregory of Pensacola, FL, Rebecca Marie Crutchfield of Pensacola, FL, Paulette Aliene (James Clifton Jr.) Gainus of Milton, FL, James Woodford (Rebecca) Lawson of Pensacola, FL.

He also leaves to cherish his memory, his brother, James Lawson; seventeen grandchildren, Carrie Anne Santos of Pensacola, FL, Danny Dwayne Conner of Pensacola, FL, Timothy Eugene Conner of Fort Blist, TX, Rodney Glenn Dockens of Bratt, FL, Jennifer Atrice Dockens of Flomaton, AL, Christopher Andrew Lawson, of Pensacola, FL, Katrina Capshaw of Pensacola, FL, Boun Tah Ong Lawson of Rhode Island, Boht Trah Ong Lawson of New York City, NY, Amanda Crutchfield of Pensacola, FL, Audrey Crutchfield of Pensacola, FL, Ashley Crutchfield of Pensacola, FL, James Adam Gainus of Milton, FL, Jessica Lynn Gainus of Milton, FL, Matthew Andrew Lawson, Milton, FL, James “Jimmy” Lawson of Pensacola, FL, Elizabeth Lawson, Pensacola, FL.; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 14, 2018, at Barrancas National Cemetery with Military Honors, and Lewis Funeral Home of Milton directing.

The family would like to thank Covenant Hospice for overseeing the care of our father, their compassion and special care of his medical needs.
