Obituary for Peggy Dorothy Cox
Peggy Dorothy Cox, 81, of Milton, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018, in a local hospital.
Peggy was born March 9, 1937, in Dothan, Alabama, to the late Benjamin Porter and Rebecca Fanny Fuller. She was a retired nurse; and also retired from Swift Textiles in Columbus, Georgia. She has resided in the Milton area since 2005. She was an avid Stephen King fan. She loved collecting flowers.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, James L. Cox; four children, Patty Poole of Columbus Georgia, Virginia Brown of Mentor Ohio, Janice Martin of Columbus Georgia, and Clyde Evans Jr. of Mentor Ohio; nineteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one sister; three brothers; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Lewis Funeral Home, Milton, has been entrusted with local arrangements.
