Obituary for Mary Eileen Hunt
Mary E. Hunt, 74, of Milton, was called home to the Lord Monday, June 11, 2018. Mary was a native of Ottawa, Illinois, where she raised four children with her late husband John. She was a dedicated wife and mother who's immeasurable love and wisdom lighted our way. Her happiness resided in worshiping the Lord, antiques and bottle digging, fishing - forever “The Fisher Lady” - and her family. She kept our spirits light with her playful personality and unconditional love, both will be greatly missed.
Mary is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, John Hunt; her grandson, John James Lewis III; and her parents, Irma and Earl Johnson.
She is survived by her brother, Stan Johnson; three daughters, Brenda Suschena, Susan Ball and Pam Lowers; a son, Steve Hunt; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., prior to the service.
