Nevius Kannon Nelson
August 14, 2002 - June 2, 2018

Nevius was born in Alaska. He loved working out, marine science, hot sauce, making music, and bad jokes. He was truly a great son, brother, and friend. He attended Pace High School. The world is a better place for having had him in it. It is impossible to put into words the impact this loving young man had on those around him. He will be celebrated, but sorely missed.

Nevius is survived by his parents, Joe and Hope Nelson; his brother, Johnny; his grandparents, Joe and Leslie Nelson, Linda Powe, and Sandra Patterson; his great grandfather, Cecil Powe. He is also survived by his mother, Erin Tai Hughes; and her children, Lyric Hughes and Wylder Wyatt. He was preceded in death by his sister, Aurora Haven Jolie Hughes.

Family and Friends are invited to a Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home, Pace Chapel (4777 W. Spencer Field Road, Pace, Florida 32571.) Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., prior to the service.
