MacKenzie Catherine Gregory, 20, of Navarre, Florida, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018

MacKenzie, referred to by friends and family simply as “Kenz” was born in Nashville, Tennessee, the younger of two daughters to Robbie Hancock Hogstad of Navarre, Florida, and Thomas D. Gregory of Athens, Alabama.

Kenz was a graduate of Navarre High School, and was enrolled in Northwest Florida College; she loved the sea and the sand with a desire to study Marine Biology. Her true passion was fashion and beauty as reflected in her dress and décor. She never met a stranger and had a heart for others.

Kenzie is survived by her parents, Michael and Robbie Hogstad; sisters, Elisabeth Gregory Pandolph; her father, Thomas D. Gregory, Reilly Danielle Gregory; her brother, William Thomas McKinney Gregory; step-sisters, Ashley and Kaylee Hogstad; as well as, her fiancé, Oscar A. Hernandez. She also leaves to cherish her memory, her Godmother, Pamela M. Wolfe; three aunts, Alice Johnson, Lois Burns, and Janet Wilson; and three uncles, Robert Hancock, David Gregory, and Jim Gregory. She was the aunt to two nephews, Kyler Gregory, and Zayden Pandolph, and niece, Harlow Gregory.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre, Florida. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., prior to the service.
