Byron Eugene Ratliff, 39, from Destin, Florida, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018.

He was born in Mobile, Alabama. He graduated from Jay High School.

He is preceded in death by his dad, Dallas Ray Ratliff; grandmother, Syble Lonell Ratliff; an aunt, Alma Lee; and cousin, Mark Anthony Dixon.

Byron is survived by his wife of 22 years, Crystal Ratliff; two sons, Devan Eugene Ratliff and Holden Alexzander “Alex” Ratliff; one daughter, Harmoni Paige Ratliff; mother-in-law, Charlotte Simons; one sister, Michelle Lynn Ratliff; and three nephews, Jonathan, Michael, and Christian.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home, Pace Chapel (4777 West Spencerfield Road, Pace, Florida 32571), with Rev. Bobby Carnley officiating. Burial will follow services in Ebenezer Assembly of God Church Cemetery, Jay, Florida.

Visitation for family will be held 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., prior to the services. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Lewis Funeral Home to offset funeral costs.
