Obituary for Gregory James St John
On Monday, February 5, 2018, Gregory James St.John, age 35, went to heaven to be with his mama, Beverly St.John, recently deceased.
Gregory was born on August 15, 1982, and lived in Milton, Florida, all of his life. Gregory was loved by all who knew him. His favorite past times included spending time by the river watching the boats, taking long drives, flowers, birds, cars and he was always ready for good food.
He is predeceased by his mother, Beverly Sue Hoodless St.John.
He is survived by his father, James Edward St. John; his favorite uncle, Duane Hoodless of Foley, AL; aunts, Margaret Horton of Perry, FL, Sara Altman of Crawfordville, FL, and Marilyn Dupree of Perry, FL. He is also survived by numerous cousins; and very special caregivers and friends, Jennifer Kemp, Amanda Pederson and Amie Allen.
Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 8, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 9, 2018, at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church (6849 Oak St., Milton, FL. 32570). Burial will follow services in Hickory Hammock Community Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Gregory’s memory.
Pall Bearers: Rodney Doss, Joe Williams, Ken Oser, Jimmy Proffitt, Scott Hoodless and Colton Hoodless and Mickey Hoodless.
Honorary Pall Bearers: Ed Kelley, Keith Jones, Mike Majors and Haywood Hannah.
