Obituary for Dorma Ruth Toole (King)


Dorma Ruth King Toole, 80, of Milton, passed away on the morning of Thursday, February 1, 2018.

Mrs. Toole was born in the Beaver Creek Community on March 26, 1937, and she was a long time resident of Milton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Lee King and Shirley Evangeline King; brothers, Johnny Donald King and Willie Dan King; and husband, George C. Toole.


Survivors include: her devoted siblings, Deloria Mullis (Walter), Dale Martin (James), Deborah Streeter, and Dwayne King (Susan); her three children, George Lynn Toole (Robin) of Pace, Donna Lynell Toole of Pensacola, and Donald Dwayne Toole (Kelly) of Pensacola; six grandchildren, and two great-grandsons, with a third grandson due to be born in May.

Funeral visitation and services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Christian Life Church in Milton, Florida, with Pastor Doug Holmes officiating and Alton Nixon assisting at the gravesite.

The visitation is from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and will be followed by a service at 12:00 p.m.
Graveside burial service will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the Beaver Creek Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home directing. Friends and family of Dorma are welcome to join the family at the gravesite.

Active pallbearers: Nephews, Dr. James Edward Martin (Eddie), Victor Martin, Johnnie King, Perry King, Darren King, and Grandson-in-law Jeremiah Hall.

Honorary pallbearers: Grandchildren, Kelly Toole, Erin Hall, Katie Toole, Aubrey Toole, Emily Toole, and Ethan Toole.

Dorma's family wants to thank Dr. Eldawy and the Medical Oncology Group, The Sacred Heart Outpatient Infusion Center, Covenant Home Health, and Covenant Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion that was given to Dorma. We also want to thank Christian Life Church for their love and support during this time.
