Obituary for Samuel Bronson Davis

Samuel Branson Davis, 65, of Mary Esther, Florida, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018.

Sam was the eldest son of Jack and Mary Lou Davis of Norwalk, Ohio. He was a graduate of Vermilion High School and served in the USAF. He worked in pest control for many years and most recently worked as a courier for Setco in Destin, Florida. He served as youth pastor in past years. Most recently, he was the leader of the XYZ Senior Adult Ministry (eXtra Years of Zest) at Navarre First Assembly of God Church.

Sam is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sharon Davis; his son, Todd Bronson Davis, and his wife, Kathy; two grandchildren, Haley and Blake; parents, Jack and Mary Lou Davis, of Norwalk, Ohio; sister, Linda Johnson, and her husband, James, of Norwalk, Ohio; sister, Kathleen, and her husband, Barry, of Spraggs, Pennsylvania; brother, James, of Norwalk, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Navarre First Assembly of God Church (9594 Navarre Parkway, Navarre, FL 32566), with Pastor Jon Skipper officiating.

Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel, has been entrusted with arrangements.
