Obituary for
Samuel David Haye
Samuel D. "Easy" Haye, 34, of Milton, Florida, passed away, Friday, December 29, 2017.
He worked with, on, and around computers until blindness made it too difficult for him to continue. He was an avid gamer, playing platforms and games on PC like Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone, Legends of Terris and World of Warcraft. In these games, he met many people from all over and quickly became friends. He would impact their lives like he could never imagine. In Legends of Terris, he met his wife, Dottie. They would go on to play games together and have many online and local friends. He also enjoyed hanging out at his friend's house where he could play cards, dice, and board games. He even incorporated game nights at home where friends come by and played board games for many hours into the night. And for some, they would know him as "Fail-druid." Tim Buckley of the Ctrl-Alt-Delete online comics immortalized these antics, which he experienced firsthand in World of Warcraft, in a short web comic. He was a presence wherever he was, whether on the Internet or at a friend's house.
Sam is preceded in death by his father, Lonnie J. Haye III; his grandmother, Bonnie Haye; grandfather, Lonnie J. Haye Jr.; and his aunt, Judy Weeks.
Sam is survived by his wife of ten years, Dorothy "Dottie" Krafka; mother, Crystal L. Haye; and his aunt, Sheryl Evans, all of Milton.
Sam requested no memorial services or viewings. Honor him by having fun with your friends and playing the games you love.
