Obituary for Dorothy Louise Denker (Caler)

Dorothy Louise Denker (Caler)
Dorothy Louise Denker of Crestview, Florida, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017, at the age of 79. She was born on March 13, 1938, in Custer City, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Rupert and Stella Caler who passed on some years ago.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Frank Collins; and three grandchildren, Stacy Williams, Stacy Marie Williams and Franklin Weekley.

Dorothy is survived by four brothers, Cecil Caler, Clinton Caler, Raymond Caler, and Tom Caler; and one sister, Linda Ray, all from Oklahoma; as well as, five beloved children, Mark Mattingly, Belinda Strandberg, and Joyce Williams, all of Crestview Florida, Jewel Thomas of Pensacola, Florida, and Charlotte Williams of Milton, Florida. She also leaves to cherish her memory numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, Stephanie, Jennifer and Joshua Williams, Christal Mattingly, Nickolas LeBlanc, Hannah and Murdock Strandberg, and Taylor and Franklin Thomas; and three beloved step children who she loved as her own, JR Denker, James Denker and Karen Denker, all of Oklahoma.

Dorothy was a very loving mother and grandmother and adored all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She had many friends in and out of the church which she attended on a regular basis due to her undying love for our Lord Jesus Christ. This love was noticeable by everyone she came in contact with as it emanated from her every word and action which is shown best in the music she wrote and sang in her last years with us.

Though she will be missed by all that she knew, the Lord has decided it was time she came to him for a higher purpose. She will live on in all of us and never be forgotten.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 2, 2017, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Burial will follow services in Hickory Hammock Community Cemetery.
