Russell Kelly Weaver, 76, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, went to be with our Lord, Monday morning, December 25, 2017.

He was born in Atmore, Alabama, and was the youngest of five children born to the late Robert and Vera Weaver. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a retired civil service worker of more than 30 years.

Russ was a believer and grew up around the church, but truly encountered and fell in love with Jesus Christ in his early to mid 30's. He participated in nearly every position of the laity at St. Paul United Methodist Church and was used by God to touch the lives of nearly everyone he came in contact with, especially his family and those closest to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Vera Weaver; and sisters, Jane and Robbie.

Russell is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 46 years, Patricia, of Gulf Breeze, Florida; two grateful sons, Michael, of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, and Jason, of Navarre, Florida; two amazing daughters-in-law, Emily and Kandice; and six world-changing grandchildren, Makenzie (12), Elijah (10), Madison (10), Ezekiel (9),Naomi (6), and Nathan (4).

Funeral services will be held for Russell Weaver at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017, at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Gulf Breeze, with Rev. Dr. Doug Pennington officiating.
