Betty is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Colen M. Hilburn, of Pace, Florida; her mother, Grace T. Cumbie, of Pace, Florida; a daughter, Becky L. Brooks of Cantonment, Florida; a son, Kevin E. Brooks, of Rockport, Texas; a son, Mark D. Brooks, of Cantonment, Florida; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Betty C. Hilburn will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel in Milton, with Rev Mike Poston, and close friend, Chuck Lavoie, officiating. Burial will follow in the Barrancas National Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home directing.

The family wishes to thank Betty's close cousin, Gwen Prestwood, for the love and care given to their wife, daughter, and mother during her time of illness. Betty loved Gwen like a sister and always lit up when she came into the room.
