Obituary for
William Andrew "Bill" Jensen Sr.
William “Bill” Andrew Jensen Sr., 71, of Milton, Florida, went to be with his savior and family in heaven on Sunday, November 19, 2017.
Bill was a native of Pensacola, Florida. He was the oldest of six children born to Ole & Marguerite Jensen. Bill was a retired Air Force Master Sergeant and a veteran of the Vietnam War, A civil servant and a member of the Meadview VFW. He was a loving husband, thoughtful brother, wonderful father, and an amazing papaw. He loved to fish and enjoyed a good practical joke. Everyone that knew him will always remember how he would love to put on his Halloween mask and scare everyone especially his children and grandchildren. He would even scare people he didn’t know that came to his house. He didn’t just enjoy scaring people he also enjoyed dressing in his Santa suit and watching the joy on the children’s faces when he walked into the room. He will be dearly missed by everyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ole & Marguerite Jensen; his son, William Andrew Jensen Jr.; bother, Paul Jensen; and sister, Mary Marks.
Bill is survived by his wife of 26 years, Deborah Jensen of Milton, FL; daughters, Regina Caraway, Christina Jensen of Milton, Roxanne Guthrey (John) of Tulsa, Ok; Liezel Jensen (Sonny) of Glendale Ca., Catrina Caves of Owasso, Ok; and two step-children, Chris Ann Sandy (Phil), and Steven Harris Milton, FL; brothers, Bobby Jensen (Debra) of Panama City, David Jensen (Valerie) of Grand Forks, ND; and sister, Patricia Moores (Charlie) of Lubec, MA; twenty-six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
Funeral Services for William “Bill” Jensen will be held at 11:30a.m., Friday, November 24, 2017, at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel in Milton, FL. Visitation for friends and family will be held 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Barrancas National Cemetery with Military Honors.
