Condolence: Doc was such a great man, I will truly miss him coming into my barber shop and talking with me. My dad and I really love him, was such a treasure! I will be thinking of the family during this time of loss. My prayers are with you all!

Condolence: I was very lucky to live next to Ron and Janie and work for him in high school cleaning his office. Ron was very soft spoken and kind hearted. You don't meet a lot of people that make an impact in your life. He will be missed.

Condolence: I once was asked in an interview who is someone you respect? I answered Dr. Maddux my boss,he is a great man, Father, husband, son but most of all a caring physician too many, he truly represents what I think a physician should be.He treated the patient,he never cared about finances,he just wanted to give his patients the best care out there. He really set the standard high.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Dr. Maddux passing. I was lucky to have worked with and know him in the mid 80's & 90's. He was such an intelligent..compassionate..and humble physician. He was the kind of doctor that made me feel blessed to have known him. Always genuinely concerned for his patients and their treatment. Pleasant and kind to the hospital staff. Always ready to go that extra mile to ensure his patients needs were met. Milton has lost a really great man.😢

Condolence: So very sorry to hear of Dr. Maddux's passing, I only met him a few years ago when I started taking my son who has autism to Dr. Maddux after his primary had retired from his private practice and started at ECCC and suggested that I try Dr. Maddux at the SRCC because I did not like traveling to Pcola, I did and was so happy. Dr. Maddux was so kind and compassionate and not the least condescending to my child, he was at ease with Dr. Maddux and Mrs. Echols from the very beginning, I just want to say he has been and will be genuinely and very very very sadly missed, thank you to wife and family for sharing him with us, you did us a great service. Thank you Dr. Maddux, you truly had a servants heart, kind, caring and compassionate!!!!

Condolence: Ron was a very special physician. He had a servant's heart and gifted surgeon's hands. That's a combination not routinely found. Thank you Janie and the children for sharing so much of him with us. May God comfort you during this difficult time
