Condolence: Dennis and his family have been patients here for as long as I can remember. He always had a smile and we knew when he had an appointment to make an extra pot of coffee. He will be missed greatly. Prayers to his children and grandchildren.

As school board attorney, I had the privilege of knowing and working with Dennis for many years. A former board member and I reflected on Dennis a few days ago and he remarked on "the Dennis Lunsford show"... when Dennis present the annual financial statement to the Board ....in GREAT detail. He was much loved and respected.

Condolence: First time I met Fuzzy was a really cold day in January, when he walked into the hunt camp and asked for help in retrieving a deer in the swamp. We rode four wheelers till the water became too deep, then waded chest deep to the edge of a flooded creek and found the deer. It was dark when we arrived back at camp. That was around twenty years ago. We often told the story, and tried many times to remember the exact year it happened. No matter, a friendship was forged that day that remains strong today. That friendship becomes a memory now, a memory to be cherished forever. Our Hunt Camp Brotherhood was important to Dennis. Like brothers we sometimes argued and disagreed with each other. But let any man stand between us, and that man made a bad decision. Dennis's Hunt Camp Brothers will come in numbers to honor him and show their love for him. You are a good man Dennis Lunsford, and I love you.

Condolence: Please know how saddened my heart feels for the loss of this special man. He was a very dear friend. He mentored me as a co-worker with the School District and also as a neighbor for many years. There was never a time that he was not willing to help someone. He had so much wisdom, sound judgment and a calm presence. He was an asset to the Finance Department. I loved his laugh! I will truly miss him and cherish the memories that we had.
