The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jeannette Nelson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I've never known a better, kinder, more giving or compassionate person! J did so much for me and my family throughout the time I was privileged to work for her. She will be missed by many, and loved too. Rest in peace J, you deserve it!

Condolence: Today is both a sad and happy day. Sad because of the loss of Jeannette and how much she will be missed but happy because I believe she has reached her final destination for all eternity and is now united with our Lord and Savior. How glorious that must be. KC, she is experiencing joy unspeakable. The Bible says we can’t even begin to image the things the Lord has prepared for us.

I started my career many years go with Professional Transcriptions. I only knew Jeannette professionally but she was always patient and kind to me. She made me feel important to her and that she cared about me. There are many things to be said about any job, that day-to-day aggravation we inevitably have at times and possibly something like a love/hate relationship (you all know)…. but there is a lot to be said for that one person who is responsible for the paycheck we bring home every week. In heaven, I’m sure its known just how many peoples lives she actually touched, how many times because of her, bills were able to be paid, groceries were put on the table, and yes literally kids were clothed, and Christmases were much more special. When you provide a job for someone, it reaches every aspect of their lives.

I will always have good memories of her kindness and be thankful for the fighter than she was and the determination it must have taken to start and keep this business going all these years.

I see many of her qualities in KC, who is one of the kindest women I know. Without a doubt she is so very proud of you KC. I pray you will be comforted….and always live to see her again one day.

I’m sorry I couldn’t join in the service for her today. I had planned to be there but when I started feeling bad, I thought it best to keep this sickness to myself and not share it with any of you.

Condolence: It's so difficult to think of Jeannette being gone, it was if she couldn't be overcome by anything, but death overcomes us all at some point; it's inevitable. King Solomon said the day of one's death is better than the day of one's being born, and no one proves the point more than our beloved "J." She leaves behind so many lives she's touched, teaching by example what love, devotion, loyalty, generosity and grace means. I hope I can somehow honor her memory by following her example to the best extent possible. My husband and I have the deepest admiration and love for her and want to convey our most sincere desire to be of support and comfort to those she loved the most, her family, particularly her dear KC and Jack. Thank you both for sharing a bit of your mother with all of us.

Condolence: Jeannette was my boss and my friend for many years. She fought a mighty battle these past few years. She just didn't have an ounce of quit in her. She loved her family fiercely, and I know she has left a huge hole in their lives. I loved her, and I feel honored to have called her my friend. I hope she's at peace.
