Condolence From: Walt Kelly
Condolence: To the Harrell Family: I watched Mike over the past several years bravely battle the cancer that was attacking his body. I had the opportunity to see and talk to him three or four times a year since I did not work in the same location with him. Mike was always positive even during the low times. The love of his family and his many close friends kept him going strong. May the Lord fill your heart with all the great memories Mike created. I know he will be miss by all those near and dear to him, but he will also be missed by many more whose lives he had touched. God bless, Walt Kelly

Condolence: Mike’s passing brings sadness and a sense that we have lost an old friend. I look back on our service together at NATTC Pensacola with fondness. Those who knew Mike will be forever comforted by the memories of his decency and wit. May his family find peace in this time of grief. When a Shipmate passes, I find some amount of solace and reflection in listening to The Navy Hymn sung by The Chief’s Mess:
